Hello Everyone!

I wanted to do a review of 2021 and take a walk back through everything I experienced this year.

As a start, I utilized the template from hellolizziebee to show one of my most dramatic looks from each month:

January:

In 2020, I moved across the country and all my clothes went into storage except for what could fit into a suitcase. I thought at this time that I was going to retire from gyaru because I thought my life wouldn't allow for it anymore. This lasted until around October 2020 when I started to miss it too much and I became active in the online community again.

Since I was broke and I struggled to find a job, I focused on collecting my basics again and taking it slow to ease back in. It took until February to have enough resources to comfortably return to a gal lifestyle. Therefore, I have nothing to show for January 2021.

February:

I was chatting on a local comm LINE chat with other gals and getting comfortable with my mod role in the Discord.

I didn't honestly do much and I don't remember my inspo at the time T-T

I was only sitting around at home all day so I was pretty depressed and just in pajamas all the time.

Because of that I got really obsessive about room decor, and I started to redecorate with my black, blue, and yellow theme that I kept until now.

March:

March is the same. I was even less motivated now because I was so lonely and felt like just staring at my blank wall all day.

I rly don't remember March at all.

But I know from Discord post logs that this is the month that we added Sei, Ari, and Rachel as moderators in the discord! I didn't know them well before that and now we are friends and I love them all very much.

I also know that I started my blog in this month!

It seems like I also started my Facebook group chat this month, and I also did my first JP order of the year!

April:

Kohi and I finally met up for the first time! It changed everything to be able to meet with friends again, The world stopped feeling like it was ending a little bit.

Because of that I also became more motivated again. It felt like there was a reason to do anything.

May:

Kohi and I started planning to start a circle!

At this time I was really into finding the most comfortably wearable daily make on my features, so I often didn't wear lashes at all. I think it was an ok era but I'm past it for now.

My hair was def fucked this month, it was rly short yeah but how was it SO FLAT. T-T

June:

I was rly focused on other things in June and I don't remember it at all. I know I got my piercing license that month!

But, I know that we had our first Pacifica meetup this month!

It's also the last time I've had real ramen.

July:

I made a tutorial for the eye make I had been doing earlier that year (and used to do in past years as well) which was a really fun little project! I'd like to do it again one day.

I was really enjoying the summer and making the most of it and also getting into suntanning again.

August:

More meetups and life was pretty much the same w

We bought our car this month!

It was also Kohi's Birthday this month and I miss the beach.

September:

Starting at the end of August I was in a short rocker boom. I don't dislike it now I just got bored, I think cause my budget was rly limited I couldn't buy new things w. Plus, I found Himena and Kana's blogs and quickly became obsessed with their style ww.

I think I bleached my hair for the first time since shaving it off at the beginning of September. I was planning to dye it blue, but I held off from it.

October:

I got really in the mood for modern style? And I kinda drifted away from gal influences for a bit and started getting more influence from Chinese, Taiwanese, and Vietnamese makeup.

I also started a new job so I finally had money!

I was out of inspiration and busy so I didn't really blog.

But I did go to a halloween party and took pics then! It's one of the few times I dressed up this month.
