I'm very sad and not in the mood lately.

but I wanted to show my new phone case.

Septum Next Size UP ↑

 

Today I streched my septum piercing to 2mm/12g. I think?

BEFORE: 

This jewelry was gifted to me by my best friend so I was a little unmotivated to change it, but I need to change.

The jewelry I used I think is this one?

AFTER:

It was a bit painful, but it wasn't any worse than getting it pierced initially. 

This jewelry was also designed with blunt ends, so that made it harder too. 

I think it looks a little too big, I wish it had a smaller diameter. 

But it's okay!

Christmas wishlist

I wanna write down my Christmas wishlist on my blog this year so I can look back at it in the future.

FILLERS

I really want to get fillers! I have a lot of problem areas on my face, and I’m starting to age.

Most of all I want tear trough fillers!!

I’m so tired of being asked “are you okay? You look tired”. And concealer can’t cover it.

HAIR

I would love to get my hair done. I do my hair myself, and it never turns out very well. I’d like the experience of having someone else handle it and having it look nice for once. Extensions and color that aren’t patchy and balding looking…

HOME

Well of course I don’t mean I want someone to buy me a house. But I’m so tired of housing instability. It’s so stressful every month. My health is too poor to work but I can’t rest because of the bills. It’s all too much for me. For Christmas I would be the most blessed to receive help with my living circumstances.

MY CAT

I gave up on taking back my cat for the time being when I got Xena, because she was still a puppy and didn’t know how to be gentle with smaller beings.

She will be 2 in January, so she will be officially an adult. I hope maybe I can receive my cat soon. Christmas will be too early. But I’m always thinking of her.

RING

Over the past year, I lost my engagement ring, and then my necklace got ruined!! 

I hope I can receive a new piece of sentimental jewelry from my fiancé. Maybe this time we can match? 

IMPORT HAUL

In a fantasy world, I could be given a credit card and told to “run wild” and buy anything I like from Japan ww

I even found someone who will import perfume for me!!

It’s no joke, I’m so overdue for an import haul that my phone is nearly exploding at this point. ><

How to make a Repeating Pattern out of any Image

Today I'll show you a little trick that I use for my blog often.

I was usually frustrated when looking up cute wallpaper to use for my blog, because there are soooo many cute character PHONE wallpapers, but those don't work for the blog, because they are not seamless.

For example, this one. ↴

Well, good thing I know how to fix it!

Step One:

Pick a good candidate.

You want to pick an image with a solid color background, or a simple background.

I'll use the MyMelo image above for today.

Step Two: 

Pick a square section to crop out of the image. ✂︎

Make sure your favorite part is included.

Be careful about what is on the edges of the image, and make sure they'll be easy to remove. 

Step Three:

Open it in a graphics program (I'll use MediBang today cause it's free.)

Color grab the background color and remove all the items that are cut off on the edges of the image.

Yeah it'll look stupid for now.

Step Four:

Resize the canvas to exactly 4x the current size.

Step Five:

Duplicate the image layer 4 times, and then place them in the four quadrants of the canvas to make the pattern.

Step Six:

FINAL STEP

Repeat step five!

But this time, you will not resize the canvas, and will just allow the excess to be cut off of the edges of the canvas.

You need to be careful this time to place them exactly, because the tiles won't line up with each other if they aren't perfectly centered at this stage!

As you can see, any piece that is cut off returns on the opposite side now!

RESULT:

Now it can be used as a wallpaper for my blog!
